Molino, FL, 1 October 2023 — The Rockhill Group, Inc. (TRG), is proud to announce its recent contract award from NOAA’s National Weather Service (NWS). As part of this contract, TRG will provide maintenance support for the Automated Radiosonde Observing System (AROS) at three pivotal NWS locations: Forks, WA; Salem, OR; and Oakland, CA.
Our dedicated team ensures the seamless operation of the AROS, assuring consistent and uninterrupted upper air observation services across all designated sites. TRG personnel are required to provide routine maintenance, characterized by thorough preparation and timely reporting on equipment conditions. Our team is also entrusted with the diligent management of hydrogen supplies, guaranteeing timely rotations and refills. Recognizing the time-sensitive nature of our operations, TRG personnel are committed to maintaining the twice-daily synoptic observation windows at each site.
